Who We Are

Advancing Health Through Research

Rinda Ubuzima is a Rwanda-based health research organization committed to improving health outcomes through clinical research, social science, and community engagement. Established in 2001 and legally registered as a Local Non-Governmental Organization by the Rwanda Governance Board.

With a strong countrywide footprint and regional engagement in East and Central Africa, we translate scientific evidence into practical solutions that promote health, disease prevention, and treatment.

Fully equipped, quality-controlled research laboratories in Kigali supporting sample analysis, diagnostics and biospecimen management across all active clinical trials.

Clinical Research

Vaccine and drug trials, point-of-care diagnostics and Phase I-IV clinical studies addressing malaria,HIV/AIDS,COVID-19,EBOLA, and reproductive health-conducted to Good Clinical Practice(GCP) standards with full regulatory approval from Rwanda's National Ethics Committee and Rwanda FDA
